Based on a series of silk screens, this digital reproduction is a series of totem poles in Stanley Park, Vancouver. The painting is about the changes Canada has gone through since the First Nations inhabited the land and if they returned, how they would probably feel like tourists in their own country.

The textures are hard to see in the thumbnail, so I worked on another version called The Tourists 04 with a more graphic appearance.
