3,000 x 2,400

The first Gremlin was an illustration assignment in college. By this time, I had done so many portraits of myself that I wanted to create something that only hinted at my resemblance. A comb was originally used as a brush to paint the hair.

This digital version was enhanced from a scan of the original. A print was sold at Yaletown Gallery and the buyer later commissioned me to produce my largest digital canvas entitled On Top.

Rule The Kingdom

Thursday, February 3rd, 2005

An outsider art styled piece of Mickey Mouse (which is anything but Disneyesque) ruling the Kingdom.

Hyper-reality is the special today.

Check out my dog, he’s had all his shots.
Serves you right if you bite in Epcot.

Check out my friends, they’re in two dimensions,
Their loyalty to me is always in question.

Check out me, check out my bling-bling.
That’s what you get when you rule the Kingdom.
